I’ve always been intrigued by 19th century Japanese artist Katsushika Hokusai’s series of woodblock prints entitled, “36 Views of Mount Fuji,” which indeed offers Mount Fuji from a variety of angles and settings. It’s made me sit up and take notice whenever I see Mount Fuji featured in a scene from any Japanese movie, TV show or anime, to the point where I’ve compiled a few dozen images of Fuji from these sources.
